I am an owner of a 96 indy ram. Most of it is stock for the time being, but I have big plans. It has a mopar performance module, after market exhaust (not sure what kind) which was on when I bought it in november 2000. Plans for a flowmaster custom exhaust are in effect. Also a custom Ram Air intake system, performance heads 2-4 lowering for cornering are my plans for the summer of 2001.

The truck is lowrered seven inces in back and five in front. My INDY RAM is ONE of FIFTY that was deliverd to Lime Rock Park Raceway in Lakeville, CT on Memoral Day weekend 1996. The body of the truck is most O.E.M. exept for the carbon fiber tail and headlight covers. The stereo was installed by myself. It includes an Alpine head unit with CD controller. Power goes to the speakers from the two Orion amps. Speakers in the front doors were replaced with a set of Polk Audio components in the factory location. I removed the factory tote bin behind the seat and installed a subwoofer enclosure. The sub box goes from one side to the other. There are four Alpine XR12 subs within the enclosure. All the suspension upgrade was done by my father and I at our repair shop. My truck and myself are members of the PRAISE THE LOWERED of CT, truck club.

I recently purchased a Indy Ram from a nearby dealer here in Connecticut with 37,000 miles on it. Currently the truck has a K&N Filter Charger direct drop in air filter, Flowmaster Three-Chamber Cat-Back exhaust system, GTS Projector beam carbon fiber headlight covers, stipes painted down the front bumper and rear roll pan, as well. Also the only other mod I have done is replaced the Headlights with Sylvania's "Cool Blue" bulbs which have worked really well. In the future I plan on redoing the entire exhaust system by adding headers, high-flow catalytic converters, and add two-chamber Flomaster mufflers. Supercharging is also something that I am looking into.

K&N air filter and polished aluminum valve covers. Dropped 4" using a Belltech lowering kit w/ nitro drop shocks and rear sway bar. I also added stainless steel braided hoses, S&S street scene sport mirrors and rear Ram's head light covers painted to match the truck and also painted stripes down the front and rear bumpers. System is under construction. So far- 2each of 12" 300 watt subwoofers, 5" midrange and 2" tweeters made by Infinity attached to a 300 watt Infinity amp. I also added a white face gauge set and blue and white racing pedals. On order- a B&M supercharger and racing cam and much more yet to come. And one last thing, a car seat for my 2 year old son so he can enjoy "Daddy's truck" too! :) Good luck to everyone who owns a Dodge Ram Indy truck!
